Hidden Gem for Iraqi Kurdish Cuisine Absolutely incredible Iraqi kebab — juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. The prices are surprisingly cheap given the high quality of food, especially when compared to nearby restaurants. The freshly baked hot bread and house-made yogurt are on another level — authentic and delicious. A true hidden gem for anyone craving real Middle Eastern flavors!

A solid option if you are looking for good food. Reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants. You get free lentil soup and tea which is great. Plus they have space for anyone who would want to pray ( just ask them if you don't see it ). I assume there is a family section on the first floor. One thing to keep in mind is that It's Kurdish cuisine so it's slightly different from Turkish or the other middle eastern food u get on curry mile. It definitely has less spices compared to South Asian food. The parking can be an issue as the area is usually busy with people. Defo worth a try

Randomly found this spot while headed to a different one so decided to try it and we loved the food. Kababs were crispy and juicy at the same time and the complementary lentil soup was amazing. Although the spice level is less for a Pakistani like me, but I enjoyed cuisine of our Muslim Kurdish brothers.

Great, simple economical place no dramatic environment to loot customers. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I ordered two mix grills more than enough for us with free nans. On the house delicious lentil soup and Kurdish karwa / tea is a great added element.

** Reports that this restaurant is closed are mistaken - definitely open on 02/07/16 ** Very likeable place - friendly & welcoming atmosphere, customers are given a fee bowl of lentil soup upon arrival. My friend and I looked at the group of men at the next table, all of whom were enthusiastically devouring a lamb and rice dish - we looked at each other, and it was obvious we were going to have the same The food was most enjoyable - big hunks of fatty lamb that falls off the bone, perfectly-cooked rice, and four bowls (between two of us) of vegetables in a kind of red soupy sauce, along with a side-salad and flatbread. After finishing the meal and chatting to the regulars, we were offered tea - served in small glasses and with a slightly spiced flavour - at no extra charge. I'm giving it four stars because the menu is limited, and the soupy veggie accompaniments to the lamb dish were pretty samey. However I'll be going back - it's great value. and fun to dip into the world of Manchester's welcoming, hospitable Kurdish community.
